Ionian Cultural Centre
Responding
to the Corfu City need to develop alternative tourism categories,
The municipality of Corfu
with
the Ioniki Bank as sponsor, in May 1996 inaugurated the Ionian Cultural
Centre in the Building Complex of the St. Nicholaos Baths.
The
building complex is situated on an exceptionally privileged spot, the
geographical centre of a wider area of historical and
cultural
interest. Built on the coastline of the Old City of Corfu, under the
Venetian walls and important historical buildings like the Palace of St.
Michael and St.George, the Corfu Reading Society and the Capodistria
Mansion, the Ioniko Cultural Centre faces the Old Fort and the island of
Vidos across the sea.
The Ionian
Cultural Centre offers space for many uses
for example
conventions, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, film projections, ceremonies.
It

Restaurant, with the capability of serving 80 people indoors and 500
outdoors.

with the capability of serving 50-60 people indoors and 400 outdoors.

convention hall with a capacity for 125 delegates, fully equipped with:
