Beyond the small
harbor, and the small creek known
as the Canal D’ Amour (single ladies will allegedly meet the man of
their dreams if they bathe here!), a series of sandstone coves has
been eroded by the sea into weirdly-shaped rock formations. Each
cove forms a natural swimming pool, with its own tiny sand beach,
and warm shallow water – kids love it! The resort’s single main
street is lined with shops and a wide choice of tavernas and bars.
After sundown, it’s lively without going over the top, and there are
a couple of good discos. |
